Section “Humanities and Social Sciences”

The Section “Humanities and Social Sciences” brings together 33 Bulgarian Humboldtians. Seven of them represent the social sciences – law, sociology and economics – while the rest are philologists, philosophers, historians and archaeologists.

Section “Physical, Mathematical and Geological Sciences”

The Section “Physical, Mathematical and Geological Sciences” unites fellows of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (including fellows of the Feodor Lynen Programme) working in all areas of experimental and theoretical physics, pure and applied mathematics, as well as in the geological sciences.

Section “Medical, Biological and Agricultural Sciences”

The Section “Medical, Biological and Agricultural Sciences” unites Bulgarian scientists working in the fields of medicine, the biological sciences and the agricultural sciences.

Section “Chemical and Engineering Sciences”

The members of the Section “Chemical and Engineering Sciences” of the Humboldt Union in Bulgaria are distinguished, internationally renowned chemists and engineers with research interests in inorganic chemistry, catalysis, physical chemistry, theoretical chemistry, organic chemistry, polymers, energy, materials technology and materials science, chemical engineering, and other fields.
